*Seniors: The FAFSA help event scheduled for this Thurs., Feb. 26 has been cancelled due to lack of participation. However, Ms. Allen will be sure to keep you informed of other community events that may be scheduled in the coming months.
*Seniors: ITT Technical Institute is offering interested Shelby County seniors the exclusive opportunity to take the HESI , which is the entrance test for nursing school. However, you must inform Ms. Allen by this Wed. if you are interested in a nursing career and would like to be included in the test count.
*Come out and support the Montevallo Soccer teams by eating at Buck’s Pizza in Alabaster TONIGHT! The girls and boys team will receive donations from all sales.

*Yearbooks are for sale through March 3, $40. Only 60 books remain to be sold. Get yours today! Purchase senior ads in the yearbook by March 3. Pick up a sen-ior ad form in Ms. Adams’s room, #112. Club pictures will be taken Wed, Feb. 25
*Interested students 2015-2016 color guard, dance line, or majorette needs to see Mrs. Wayman or Mr. Lawley for an informational packet. All students and par-ents must attend a meeting on February 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.
*Calling all students and teachers! Come be apart of Montevallo’s first lip sync contest, Friday, February 27. The winner will go home with a $50 gift card to El Agave. Entry fee is $10. Admission is $3 to attend.
*Attention Jrs: MHS is now preparing to select it’s Alabama Girls State and Boys State representatives for 2015. Interested students should have a keen interest in civic engagement, government, and leadership. Both programs will be held at the Univ. of Alabama this summer. Interested students should see Ms. Allen.
*Juniors: Jacksonville State University is hosting its annual Emerging Leaders Day on March 19, and MHS can select 3 student leaders from the junior class to attend. Interested students should see Ms. Allen TODAY
*The Shelby County Poetry Players will begin after-school rehearsal . Rehearsal will last until 4:00 in Mrs. Hinton’s room.
