*Interested students 2015-2016 color guard, dance line, or majorette needs to see Mrs. Wayman or Mr. Lawley for an informational packet. All students and par-ents must attend a meeting on February 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.
*Seniors: FAFSA Help Event on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the library. You must sign up with Ms. Allen tomorrow if you or your parents intend to participate so that appropriate plans can be made
*Calling all students and teachers! Come be apart of Montevallo’s first lip sync contest, Friday, February 27. The winner will go home with a $50 gift card to El Agave. Entry fee is $10. Admission is $3 to attend.
*Attention Jrs: MHS is now preparing to select it’s Alabama Girls State and Boys State representatives for 2015. Interested students should have a keen interest in civic engagement, government, and leadership. Both programs will be held at the Univ. of Alabama this summer. Interested students should see Ms. Allen.
*Juniors: Jacksonville State University is hosting its annual Emerging Leaders Day on March 19, and MHS can select 3 student leaders from the junior class to at-tend. Interested students should see Ms. Allen by Monday
*The Shelby County Poetry Players will begin after-school rehearsal, Monday, February 23rd. Rehearsal will last until 4:00 in Mrs. Hinton’s room.
