Juniors and Seniors: The Greater Alabama Council Youth Leadership Development Program is seeking a select number of students to take part in this year’s program. YLDP provides an opportunity to enhance your leadership potential by participating in monthly workshops and civic activities. See Ms. Allen if you are interested in being considered. YLDP is a time commitment, but the reward is worth the sacrifice.
TOMORROW is a home game against the Rams from Francis Marion. Wear your camou-flage to support our Bulldogs as they prepare for the first home victory.
There will be a wrestling meeting today during 7th period, in the lunchroom.
Anyone interested in being part of the team must attend.
There will be an ANIME CLUB meeting today afterschool from 3:00-3:45 in Mrs. Pastor’s room (305 in Alice Boyd building).
Homecoming is less than a month away! September 14th through the 18th! Homecoming committees should coordinate with their grade level sponsors times and places for plan-ning meetings for skits, floats, and wall decoration. Floats and wall decorations should co-ordinate with grade selected time period for Time Travel Thursday.
Homecoming tshirts are now being sold by your grade level Homecoming sponsor- don’t miss out!!! All shirts are black with neon and white writing and $8 regardless of size. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to show your spirit on Spirit Day during Homecoming Week! If you plan on playing Powderpuff Football during Homecoming Week, you will need a Homecoming Shirt to play.
Students with parking permits should park in the designated number. Students without permits are not allowed to park on campus. No one should park in front of the gym foyer! Failure to follow the rules could result in your car getting towed at your expense!

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
