Students who are part of Students Institute with Montevallo Elementary and Middle Schools will have their 3rd Field Trip and Workday on this Friday, January 29, 2016. We will leave during 1st pe-riod and return during 8th period. Lunch is provided. Wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothes!

Students interested in being in Broadcast next year need to see Mrs. McCaleb for an applica-tion. Applications are due by Friday, January 29.

Attention AP Students: Ms. Allen will be available during the lunch waves on Tuesday to hand out your fee notices and copies of the AP Bulletin. Please take time to stop by the table and see her. AP fees will be due March 7.

Yearbooks are on sale now! Less than 40 remain to be sold, $40. See Ms. Adams to pay for yours. Room 115.

Seniors, celebrate your graduation with a senior ad in the yearbook. These are on sale now through Feb. 9. See Ms. Adams to get an ad contract.

The Montevallo Day of Pageants will be held Saturday, Feb. 6. All entry forms and payments must be turned in by Friday, Jan. 29th. All girls in grades 9-12 may participate.

“Are you interested in being a majorette, dance line or color guard member for the 2016 band sea-son? If so, see Mrs. Wayman or Mr. Lawley for an informational packet. There will be a mandatory parent interest meeting on February 11th.”

Juniors: The Shelby County Spring College Fair will be held at UM on Feb. 12. Permission forms will be made available in your history classes and must be returned by Tues., Feb. 9!

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
