Any pep club member that did not receive their t-shirt please see Coach D. Also, anybody that would like to purchase a Pep Club T-Shirt but not the membership for $12 see Coach D as well.

Students have been given permission forms and information regarding the Flu shots to be given on Oct. 18 & 19th. Please be sure to review this and return the permission forms by Oct. 18 to the school nurse.

Softball Try-Outs will be from Monday Oct 17th – Thursday Oct 20th from 6:00 to 8pm. Forms must be turned in by Thursday October 13th in order to try-out. See Coach Gothard room 114 for details and forms.

Sophomores: It is now time for MHS to select its HOBY representative for 2016-2017. HOBY is a 3-day leadership seminar at Troy University for sophomore students who want to give back to their communities through leadership and service. Interested students should see Ms. Allen if you would like to be considered.

FFA Fruit Sales begin Oct. 24– Nov. 14. Delivery approximately Dec. 9

The Montevallo Fire Prevention Parade is this Saturday. Several vendors will be set up in the park. If you would like to earn some community service hours by helping, see Mrs. Glover by Thursday.

Attention Seniors: A representative from the Univ of South AL will be on campus Mon., Oct. 17 during GPS in the library. Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office.

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
