First Priority wants to “See You at the Pole” Wed. Sept. 27th @ 7:20

Tickets to watch the HC VB tournament are only $1 and for sale at lunch! Don’t miss out on watching the grade levels compete with each other and also against a talented faculty team!!!

There will be a second chance tryout for the softball team on Saturday, October 14 for any girls that could not make it to the first date. The tryout will be from 8:00-10:00 AM at the softball field. Once again you must have a physical and consent form turned in before you can tryout. This WILL BE the last tryout. Girls that already made the team DO NOT need to tryout again. Any questions see Coach Niven or DuBose.

Parents: Flu vaccines for students will be given Oct. 20. You child has been given a permission form to receive the vaccine for free. Please sign and return to the school nurse by Oct. 13.

Coin drop and canned food drive will continue through Friday Sept. 29. Points still counting for homecoming week!

The Powder Puff game has been moved to Thursday September 28th.

Anyone interested in joining pep club see Coach D. Membership fee is $35.

Attention Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors: You will make your first visit to MES on Tues., Sept. 26. Please meet at the picnic tables promptly at 11:40. Remember that you cannot make the first visit if you still have forms to submit. Check Ms. Allen’s door for info on how to sign up for REMIND.

Attention Students: Young Women’s Empowerment Conference will host a Scholarship Boot Camp for students in grades 10-12 on Sept. 30 at Samford University. You can find more info on Ms. Allen’s blog. You must register by Sept. 28.

Students: Do you need help mastering the ACT? If so, the University of Montevallo has ACT Prep Camps scheduled for Oct. 14 and Nov. 18. Check out Ms. Allen’s blog for cost and registration info.
