Don’t forget our makeup Homecoming Dodgeball game is this afternoon! If you brought your completed permission form and your $3 to play, please bring both to Mrs. Pastor Room 305 in the Alice Boyd building by lunchtime. If you’ve already paid and turned in your permission forms, then go to the gym when called this afternoon. Only $1 to watch! Tickets to watch will be on sale during lunch.

The PSAT will be administered Wed, Oct. 11. Students who signed up should report to school on time, and you are allowed to bring a calculator. Cell phones or other electronic devices are prohibited.

There will be an Anime Club Meeting TODAY from 3-4pm in Mrs. Pastor’s room.

Parents: Flu vaccines for students will be given Oct. 20. You child has been given a permission form to receive the vaccine for free. Please sign and return to the school nurse by Oct. 13.

School picture orders are due TODAY to Mrs. Fricke.

Softball tryouts will be Saturday, October 14 8 am –10 am for any girls that could not make it to the first date. Any questions see Coach Niven or Coach Dubose

Attention Sophomores: The Shelby County Career Awareness Fair has been rescheduled for Nov. 7.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Auburn Univ Montgomery will be on campus TODAY during the senior GPS time in the library.

Attention JRS: Application for Youth Leadership Shelby County are due TODAY it to Ms. Allen

Students: Do you need help mastering the ACT? If so, the University of Montevallo has ACT Prep Camps scheduled for Oct. 14 and Nov. 18. Check out Ms. Allen’s blog for cost and registration info. School make-up pictures will be Oct. 23.

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
