Friday, 9/14 – Football @ Jemison High School: 7:00
Saturday, 9/15 – Volleyball @ Chelsea

Volleyball tonight @ home against Calera 5 pm.

Friday Spirit Theme: Put the panthers to sleep! Wear your pajamas (must be in dress code)

Attention Seniors: The Univ of West Alabama will be today during GPS in the library.

Sophomores interested in participating in the 10th grade Homecoming Committee will meet tomorrow during GPS in Mrs. Gothard’s room 114

Students interested in applying for Homecoming Court need to pick up an application packet from Mrs. Fricke, room 115. Applications are due Friday, September 21.

Softball evaluations will be Sept. 24, 25, & 26 @ 6 pm. You must have a physical and insurance form turned in to Coach Poe by FRIDAY to participate.

Girls basketball tryouts will be held Friday from 3:00-6:00. All girls must have their packet, physicals, and insurance cards turned in before tryouts.

Montevallo’s Homecoming Dance will be held Sept 28 from 7-11 in the gymnasium to kick-off Homecoming. The event is semi-formal. Tickets will be $10 a piece and sold at lunch beginning Monday, September 17.

Attention Students: Brookwood Baptist Health will be offering its Learning for Life Exploring program for students interested in learning more about medical careers. The informational meeting will be held Sept. 18 and the fee is $35. See Ms. Allen for more info.

Attention Students: The NACAC College Fair will be held at the BJCC on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 1-4 p.m. This is a free event and you are encouraged to register online at gotomyncf.com

FBLA meeting Thursday after school. Bring your $20 for dues. All members must attend!

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
