Congratulations to the Lady Dawgs tennis team for defeating Oak Grove 8-1 last night for another area win!

Since the exact value of pi can never be calculated, we can never find the accurate area or circumference of a circle. March 14 is celebrated as pi day because of the first 3.14 are the first 3 digits of pi. Many math nerds around the world love celebrating this infinitely long, never-ending number.

All archery team participants, please see Mr. Martin sometime today.

Any girl grade 9-11 interested in playing volleyball for 2019-2020 school year please sign up with Coach Baswell in room 107. Deadline to sign-up is 3/22.

Rising juniors and seniors are eligible to participate in Work-Based Learning (cooperative education) which is an early-release program where students work for school credit. Applications are available in the guidance office. If you have any questions please contact Sandra Gallups at sgallups@shelbyed.org

Prom King & Queen votes will be open and due by TOMORROW.

The CTEC application deadline is March 15. The online application is on the CTEC website. The students have to log into their Google account to access it. Please choose three programs that they are interested in. See Coach Poe with any questions.

Attention AP Students: Please be reminded that your AP Exam Fees are due to Ms. Allen by Monday, March 18.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
