Softball tryouts will be held on Saturday Sept. 21st from 9-12 in the morning

Attention Juniors and Seniors: MHS has the opportunity to nominate students for the Youth Leadership Development Program. This is an 8-month commitment that exposes students of high character to unique leadership experiences and provides scholar- ship opportunities for seniors. See Ms. Allen by Friday if you would like to be considered.

Attention AP Students: Remember that Oct. 1 is the deadline to pay the non-refundable $40 deposit per AP exam you plan to take. This will ensure that your exam is ordered. Exam payments should be paid to Ms. Allen. Remember too that all AP students are expected to submit an AP Program Agreement. See your AP teacher for a copy.

MHS is going to Costa Rica! Parent information meeting will be TONIGHT at 6:30 PM in room 300. This trip is open to all MHS students.

Attention Juniors: Youth Leadership Shelby County is now taking applications for this year’s class. See Ms. Allen for an application packet. The submission deadline is Oct. 1.

Food Pantry of MHS is accepting donations . Items may be dropped off at the main office.

Senior portrait orders due in the morning 7-8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. All picture orders for football, cheer, and band are due first thing in the morning Tuesday, September 3rd.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
