What’s Happening!

Fri– FB @ Helena HS 7 pm

FBLA will meet today after school in Mrs. Nunn’s classroom.

Bulldogs will play Round 2 of the playoffs against Handley High School. Due to Hurricane Zeta damage at our stadium, we will be playing @ Helena High School Friday Night @ 7 pm.

**Please note: THERE WILL NOT BE TICKETS SOLD AT THE GATE! ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ON GOFAN.

Friday’s Spirit Theme: Tackle the Tigers! Wear your favorite jersey! IF you do not have a jersey, wear orange & blue to show your support!

Students and teachers, do you enjoy reading books? Join Mrs. Glover and others to read & discuss books! Just scan the QR code on the posters around school or go to the MHS Library’s website to join and to let her know you are interested and when you’d like to meet. 1st Meeting: December 1st @ 7:30 a.m. in the MHS LIBRARY Bring what you are currently reading.

Reminder: If you forsee an absence other than sick or dr., you must fill out a pre-planned absence request form and have approval from the administration. These forms are due 2 weeks in advance. Note that this is not a guarantee of approval but must be requested. This
form can be found on the MHS / county website.

**For your protection as well as staff, please utilize the QR Code Reader in the foyer for checking in or out. Instructions are located on the table next to the code. QR reader must be downloaded on android phones. Students may check themselves in but not out. ALL excuses should be emailed to scboe-mnhs@shelbyed.org. All school business should be conducted in the main foyer. There is a speaker located on the table for your convenience of stating your business.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
