HAPPENING THIS WEEK!

Access Codes for registration will be given to students beginning next week Apr. 19. Please complete the online S.C.O.R.E. once you receive your child’s code.


Crop tops that expose your midriffs are not permitted. Students who continue to wear cropped shirts will be asked to have someone bring an appropriate shirt. If you are unaware of the dress code, please check your handbook or come by the main office for a copy.


Students: Please keep in mind that Shelby County Schools is continuing the required wearing of masks through AprilAll students are expected to comply with any guidelines set forth by our Board of Education, so masks should be worn while at school for the safety of everyone.


Attention 10th graders, If you missed taking the Pre-ACT test in February, the make-up exam will be next Thursday, April 22nd. This will be the last opportunity to take the Pre-ACT. Please arrive at school promptly at 8 AM and bring pencils and a calculator.


Tickets will be sold next week during 3rd period for the NHS Decathlon taking place next Thursday. They are $5 for this all-day event. See your history teacher next week for details about signing up for participation in the events. All proceeds will go to the Humane Society.


Future Teacher Officer applications for next year are due April 22nd to Mrs. Cabrera.


After School Detention will be held Tues., April 20 in Mrs. Nunn’s room beginning at 3:05.


Attention Seniors! There will be 8 tickets for graduation- will be distributed to seniors during graduation practice on the day of graduation, May 24, 2021.

*Cap and gown handout during 3rd period next week, April 19-22, 2021 to all traditional seniors who have paid all outstanding school fees. Seniors will be called by last name each day.

*SUCCESS and Remote Students who have paid all outstanding school fees are welcome to come after school between 3-4 pm next week, April 19-22, 2021 to pick up their caps and gowns in the Alice Boyd Building (where the lunchroom is)


*Any Senior who did not take the Alabama Civics Exam in December will be required to take it during the week of April 26-29, 2021. You will be contacted by Ms. Pastor for a date and time of makeup.


All class fees may be paid online @ Myschoolbucks.com. You may sign in as a guest or create an account.

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
