Students, please be aware that our Shelby County Code of Conduct strictly prohibits having any
type of toy or replica weapon on school grounds. This can be considered a Class III offense, and
you will be held accountable.

Beginning Jan. 2022, MHS will implement additional guidelines regarding student check-
ins. Students who report to school after 8:15 a.m. will only be allowed to check themselves in 3 times. Upon the 3rd late arrival, a conference will be held with the parent to discuss
tardiness, Early Warning Court, and other consequences. Furthermore, students will not be allowed subsequent opportunities to check themselves in. They will have to be accompa-
nied by a parent or guardian.

If you are interested in applying for Work Based Learning/Co-op for spring semester,
please see Mrs. Walker for an application. All applications are due by Friday, December 10th. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications must be completed
in blue or black ink with authentic signatures.

Do you like adventures in reading? Come to the library Tuesday, December 7th at 7:30 am and let’s talk books! You might be enticed to read someone’s suggestion and you might talk someone into reading your favorite! Come share and get ideas for your next reading venture.

Students have been given copies of the Semester Exam Schedule along with pre-check out forms. These forms must be signed by a parent and returned no later than Wed. Dec. 8. No forms will be accepted after this date. Please place completed forms in the box at the office window.

If you are interested in being on the Montevallo High School Scholars Bowl team, please see Mr. Martin or Mr. Wilke as soon as possible.
