With flu season right around the corner, we would like to request donations of hand sanitizer and Kleenex to be placed in classrooms. Donated items can be brought to the main office and we will distribute them to classrooms. Thanks to those who have already donated!

MHS will once again be participating in Alabama College Application Campaign Week beginning Monday. Nov. 1st & 2nd will be application days for seniors, and Nov. 3 will be a day for students and parents to get help completing the FAFSA. Students and/or parents should contact Ms. Allen to set up an appointment time for FAFSA help.
School-wide Competition for Poetry Out Loud will be held tomorrow after school from 3-4 p.m.

ophomores: Remember that Mon., Oct. 31 is the deadline to submit your essay to Ms. Allen if you are interested in representing MHS at the HOBY Leadership Seminar in 2017.
MHS is observing National Red Ribbon Week which is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation. Peer Helpers ask you to join us this Friday by wearing RED and pledging to be drug free. ! We will have candy and some other door prizes to hand out to those who participate, and we will be taking a big group picture in front of the school on Friday between 4th and 5th period. We will be entering this picture into a contest where our school could win an ipad and $1000. So please spread the word!!!
