Bulldogs will play Round 2 of the playoffs against Handley High School. Due to Hurricane Zeta damage at our stadium, we will be playing @ Helena High School Friday Night @ 7 pm.

Students, Are you interested in exploring careers? Do you want to learn how to match your skills with the best career? Are you considering the military as your career path? If you answered yes, then drop by the counselor’s office and sign up to take the ASVAB test. The test will by next Friday, November 13th here at school.

The results of the MHS Mock Presidential and Alabama Senatorial Races are in (after 187 students voted) :
The Presidential Results are: the winner, Democrat Joe Biden 58.3%; then, Republican Donald Trump with 34.2%, and the Libertarian Jo Jorgensen with 7.5%.
The Senatorial race was won by Doug Jones with 63.6%; Tommy Tuberville received 36.4% of the vote.

Girls basketball practice will start next Monday from 3-5.

Softball tryouts will be held Nov. 3-5 from 5-7. See Coach Niven or Coach Gothard for more information.

Students: During class changes, you should go out the main front door and come in the side door by the stairwell so that traffic flows safely in one direction.

Our football game with Maplesville next week has been moved up to Thursday (10/29). The time will still remain at 7:00 PM.
For tickets that have already been sold on GoFan for Friday, they will be honored and validated at the gate on Thursday Night.

Don’t forget the week-long Dodgeball Tournament between classes starts tomorrow and will be played at the end of the day during the Afternoon Activity Schedule. Make sure your grade level has a team to compete with. Sign up is free and you can have up to 20 players.
Tickets for each grade level to watch their team play will be available during 3rd period and lunch each day starting next Tuesday.

Monday begins Homecoming Week! Monday’s dress-up theme is Character Day. Dress in your favorite Disney or Marvel Character. Remember Dress code still applies. Remote Students can take a selfie in their dress-up attire and email it to Ms. Pastor at lpastor@shelbyed.org to help towards their grade level’s points.
