FIT February Fact: When finding a balance, don’t forget that food matters! According to Harvard Health, 95% of serotonin, the brain chemical that impacts moods, is produced in your gastrointestinal tract. Eating clean by getting rid of processed foods and sugar can
increase reduce anxiety levels and improve mental outlook. Go clean and feel better physically and emotionally.

Please be reminded that students are not allowed to receive any deliveries for Valentine’s Day.
Senior ads for the yearbook are due by February 22. Pick up an ad form from Mrs. Fricke, room 115. Yearbooks are on sale. $50. Order yours now.

Are you interested in being an MHS cheerleader? The mandatory cheer parent meeting scheduled for tonight has been changed to Feb. 20 at 6 pm. Cheer clinic will be March 4-7 and tryouts March 8th. Please see Mrs. Fine in room 206 with any questions.

After school football workouts will begin TODAY immediately after school.

We are now in flu season. MHS will accept Lysol Wipes, Kleenex, Hand Sanitizer or Lysol Spray. Donations may be dropped off at the
main office.

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
