Session titles include: Know Yourself, Team Player, Stay Classy, Above & Beyond, and Wow Factor. Tuesday will be a half day Career Conference with a variety of speakers from different professions ranging from sculpting to forensic science. Also, on Tuesday afternoon, there will be a special treat for all of our
students before we all leave for the Thanksgiving holidays.
* Students are not allowed in the teacher’s lounge! No exceptions!
* Seniors:
As you may already know, the AL State Dept. of Education has decided that you no longer have to pass the Alabama High School Graduation Exam in order to graduate. However, the test will still be offered for any senior who wishes to continue to test. Please let Ms. Allen know if you feel you need to continue to test.

* Jim Chomicz from Montevallo Presbyterian Church would like to thank Peacemakers Ariana Falkner, Cynthia Herrera and Kayla Snuggs for volunteering their time Saturday night at First Light, a women’s shelter in Birmingham. Peacemakers baked brownies and served dinner to 70 homeless and abused women.
*Peacemaker members will be collecting donations from MHS students and staff next Monday and Tuesday for their Fall Fundraiser. The majority of the funds will be donated to Shelby Emergency on Valley Street, where over 1,000 needy Montevallo residents benefit from their services annually. A portion of the proceeds will help fund a homemade dinner served to 80 Hope Lodge cancer patients and their caregivers. Thank you for caring during this season of thanksgiving and supporting Peacemakers.
