Our Big Percentages Test last week served as our benchmark in math for the 3rd nine week grading period.

It is my desire for students to have NO HOMEWORK this week due to preparation for benchmark exams. We will have a new lesson & classwork each day this week focusing on additional Measures of Central Tendency such as Box & Whisker Plots, Stem & Leaf Plots and Histograms. However, if students have a hard time settling to listen to the daily lesson, our work for that particular class period will become homework. It is strictly up to students as to whether they have homework this week or not.

Our Big Percentages Test started our week off with a bang! I am super excited at the scores I know I will see out of my students!

Our study in math will focus on mean, median, and mode over the next several days. We will also begin analyzing sets of data as they are represented in bar graphs, circle graphs, whisker plots, histograms, etc.

Students remember to study your completed study guide this weekend to prepare for our test on Monday! You guys know this material VERY WELL and I am pumped up at the scores I know I will see on this test!
