Students began learning the process for dividing fractions today in class! We call it “Keep Change Flip” or KCF for short! As you can see from the notes we took today in class, the steps are:
- Keep the first fraction
- Change the operation from division to multiplication
- “Flip” or find the reciprocal of the last fraction
I reminded students that I wanted to see the “KCF” on each and every problem! We are doing this to keep ourselves on track as we work through the problems!
