Week of April 11 – 15

SOCIAL STUDIES

The focus of our studies for the next several weeks will center on Chapter 29 and the Civil Rights Movement. This week we will consider the Plessy v. Ferguson court case as well as the Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas court case and their impact on the Civil Rights Movement. We will complete the week considering how the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations dealt with the turbulent events during the 1960 era.
